Romantic Things to Do in Prague
Plan a relaxed Prague date with Kampa, river views, a meal or a cultural stop, plus practical alternatives for rain and busy evenings.
Editorial review:
A walk with room to talk
Start in Malá Strana and walk towards Kampa. Allow one or two hours including a pause by the river rather than making dinner the next urgent deadline. Charles Bridge can be busy; staying by the riverbank gives you another way to enjoy the view.
Choose a view that suits your evening
Letná works for a hillside panorama if you are comfortable walking uphill. Check the weather and local sunset time before setting out, and plan the return route. In colder or wet weather, choose a gallery and a café instead of waiting outside for a photograph.
One reservation is often enough
Choose a meal, concert or cruise as the anchor and arrange it with the provider. Check the departure point for boats, performance language, dietary options and cancellation terms. Leave a gap after the walk and avoid assuming a specific table or sailing is available.
Suggested stops

Malá Strana & Kampa
Take the small streets below the castle, then head to Kampa for a gentler riverside pause. A good counterpoint to the busiest squares.
MapVltava
Karlův most
Cross on foot for views of the Vltava and the bridge towers. Pause at the riverbank too: the bridge is often more beautiful from a little distance.
MapLetná
Letenské sady
A hillside park for that layered view of Prague’s bridges. Expect an uphill walk; bring water and choose comfortable shoes.

Can we plan a date without a paid activity?
Yes. A self-guided walk around Malá Strana and Kampa can be the main plan. Food, transport and paid venues are optional and charged separately.
