How to plan less and experience more

Start with the feeling you want, then decide what belongs in the day. Quiet, curious and sociable lead to different plans. Choose one main experience and make everything else optional.
Use duration as a starting point, not a promise. Add time for getting there, queues and a break. Compare experiences on practical fit rather than an unverified rating or an attractive photo alone.
Save two or three alternatives before you go. Confirm the final price, language, meeting point and cancellation terms with the provider. A small flexible list often serves you better than a packed schedule.
